Jenny Buley began her trialing career in 1998 at the University of Georgia Trial Garden under the tutelage of Dr. Allan Armitage.  In 1999 she embarked on a small pilot project with the Paul Ecke Ranch geared toward breeding heat tolerant selections of Mimulus.  The original 5' x 20' trial quickly increased in size to 1/4 acre, then almost an acre while conducted at the University of Georgia Horticulture Farm.  In 2010, she and her husband Matt purchased a delightful farm and created a beautiful garden incorporating a 1.25 acre trial ground.  For the past 15 years, Jenny learned the craft of trialing, ensuring complete records, detailed photography, and conclusions based on precise data.

Beginning in 2014 she will continue her work evaluating annuals, perennials, vegetables, and shrubs independently in her new endeavor, Hidden Gardens.  She is an enthusiastic team worker with a keen eye for new and exceptional plant material, and possesses time tested horticultural, scientific, problem solving, organization, and interpersonal communication skills.  She has a creative spirit with a passion for new plant genetics and a dedication to bringing new cultivars to market that ensure success for both the grower and the consumer.
